Sheree has over 25 years of management experience in sales, operations, HR and benefits. With 10 of those years spent leading Employee Benefits as a customer-focused benefits brokerage and HR consulting firm, she understands the challenges business owners face. She’s advised multiple start-up companies and loves being part of helping existing businesses grow and progress. She enjoys helping clients find and implement the best quality and value benefit plans; and she is passionate about investing in the continuing education of her team, so they can partner with clients to help keep them compliant and educated on topics that affect the way they run their businesses. Sheree is a graduate of the University of Alabama and a licensed insurance broker who also holds two HR certifications (PHR and SHRM-CP) to assist with providing clients with comprehensive HR/Benefits support.
Valerie brings to the team at Employee Benefits, over 25 years of experience in human resources and business administration supporting for-profit and non-profit sectors. Valerie is a certified Professional in Human Resources through the Society for Human Resources Management and has supervisory experience with professional and paraprofessional staff and volunteers. Valerie prides herself on professional excellence and strategic partnerships within human resource management services, assisting companies to fulfill their organizational mission, employee management, strategic initiatives, consulting, and risk-management.
Director of Benefits
Sam brings 15+ years of benefits experience with a wide range of roles from Claims Analyst to Account Management & Sales. Spending 12 years with a large Benefits Carrier helped Sam understand the needs of his Agents and Client Partners. As a Business Administration Graduate of Western Kentucky University, Sam enjoys using his experience to help Clients find creative solutions to unique situations. With three young daughters, Sam stays active and volunteers as a coach with the Nolensville Soccer League. Sam looks forward to providing exceptional value and service to his clients in an ever-changing benefit market.
Manager of Employee Services
With experience in nonprofit work, customer service and the music industry, Brandon’s main focus has always been people and he is most energized when engaging with or helping others. An Organizational Communication graduate of Middle Tennessee State University, Brandon is naturally inclined towards organization, efficiency, details and how all of these affect the people he serves. His minor in Leadership Studies and certification in Experiential Learning find him constantly exploring new opportunities for growth, development and servant leadership. Few things make Brandon happier than doing things with excellence or doing work that contributes to others’ well-being. Always armed with a joke or a laugh, Brandon loves to spread positivity and optimism in the workplace and looks forward to new challenges every day.
Barbara has worked in bookkeeping and payroll for most of her life. A graduate of the University of Evansville, she has traveled the world while working remotely. Formerly with ADP Payroll Services, where she acted as a payroll supervisor for 13,000 employee's, Barbara brought her knowledge to Employee Benefits in 2008. Barbara has a keen eye for numbers and a meticulous desire for accuracy and details.
With over 30 years of experience in entrepreneurial, management and administrative support roles, Deborah's passion is serving our clients with professionalism and excellence. Currently, Deborah supports our small and mid-size clients in a variety of areas related to HR administration, benefits, including the complete employee life-cycle. Prior to joining Employee Benefits, Deborah has worked and functioned in a variety of business-related positions. Operating her own business, Diamond In the Rough Music, LLC., has proven that managing, marketing and public relations related duties do correspond effortlessly when serving the expanding needs of our current and new clients. Deborah is an avid runner and enjoys decorating for a creative outlet.

Graduating from the University of Tennessee Chattanooga with a Human Resource Management and Business General Management degree, recently becoming a National and Middle Tennessee SHRM member, Heath brings a sense of passion for growing his knowledge in Human Resources. Heath is dedicated to his work and prides himself on staying organized while getting the job done on time. Having worked in Customer Service in the past, Heath exemplifies a keen sense of welcoming others with a smile and openness to learing more about them. He looks forward to gaining new knowledge in the world of Human Resources and using his knowledge to help others in the workplace.
Carlos St. John
Being an Organizational Communication graduate from Middle Tennessee State University, Carlos prides himself in strong and effective communication in every setting. Having graduated in only three years, Carlos exemplifies a hard and consistent work ethic and is a charismatic person who values education and knowledge, constantly looking for something new to learn and remember no matter the subject. He always looks forward to expanding his knowledge and experience every day in the field of Human Resources, daily utilizing his various skills and talents to better serve and accomplish the mission of Employee Benefits LLC.
Human Resource / Recruitment Specialist
A graduate from Lipscomb University with a double emphasis in Fine Arts, Taylor brings a unique perspective on understanding people and tackling problems. With over five years in the customer service industry, she has acquired tools to help people feel heard and taken care of. She takes pride in doing a job well, exceeding expectations and finds joy in serving others. All the while, connecting to people, having fun and remaining positive. Taylor feels honored to be a part of a team that goes above and beyond to give customers the best experience possible.
Micah has over 10 years of HR & Compensation experience in the Mortgage industry and is our first 100% remote employee all the way from Oregon. She is passionate about all aspects of the employee life cycle from recruiting through the Exit interview. Micah is well versed in all things Human Resources from employee relations, labor law compliance, employee benefits, payroll & performance. Micah is thrilled to join the Employee Benefits, LLC team as the HR Recruitment Specialist and to really own that piece of the employment journey. In her free time, Micah loves reading, gardening, chicken raising, hiking, camping and spending as much time with friends and family as possible.
Christina holds her undergraduate degree in Mass Communication with a minor in Business Administration from Belmont University. Prior to her current role, Christina worked as a Sales Development Representative at an online interior design company with a focus on client relationship cultivation. Bringing these strong people skills, experience in the administrative field of business and drive for superior quality, Christina is motivated to serve our clients with professionalism, enthusiasm while demonstrating our core values in a variety of HR support roles, including new hire onboarding, audit preparations and HR administration. In her free time, Christina enjoys writing, travelling, and spending quality time with her family.
A graduate of Austin Peay State University, Tanisha has several years of experience in administration, Human Resources and customer service. As a result, Tanisha has developed relationship building, research and verification abilities in the field of Human Resources. She loves to connect and develop relationships with people. With her interpersonal and communication skills, she can make anyone feel warm and welcome. In her free time, she enjoys listening to different topics on social media platforms such as podcasts and YouTube.

Kendall is a Human Resource Coordinator bringing a rich background of experience with him from large corporations: Amazon, Inc., Verizon Foundation Initiative: Verizon Innovative Learning Program. Specializing in administrative roles and serving clients, Kendall has an acute depth in attention to detail, professionalism and exceptional communication skills, continually demonstrating immense gratitude, the epitome of a diligent worker. Kendall’s diverse background will be an asset to our current and future clients. Graduating from Kentucky State University in 2019, Kendall holds his Master’s degree in Public Administration and Human Resource Management. In his free time, Kendall enjoys working out, indulging in his favorite anime shows, and going on adventures with his “Dog”hter, Nala, a Siberian Husky.

Zappy and Zazzy, Zoey has risen to the prestigious role of Director of Stress Management at Employee Benefits, LLC. Seizing every opportunity to ensure all non-canines are loved, Zoey approaches her responsibilities with passion, precision and zeal making all who interact with her feel warm, stress-free and sleepy. In addition to Zoey's invaluable dedication in stress management, she also has volunteered herself to be guardian and protector of EBLLC making sure no Mail-Carrier can enter the building safely.
